RESULT:
Average Thigh girth for control group was 0.404 inches
Average Thigh girth for experimental group was 0.436 inches

The difference of quadriceps girth between control group and experimental group
is got by subtracting 0.404 from 0.436 i.e.

                                    = 0.436 – 0.404
                                    = .032 inches
When converting in to centi metres

                     0.032 x 2.5 cm = 0.08 cm.

CONCLUSION:

The result shows that group who have done quadriceps contraction eccentrically has acquired more
girth of quadriceps than the group who had done concentric works in same conditions.Hence this
study clearly implements the theory of specificity which states that-

"The adaptive effects of training such as the improvement of
strength, power and endurance tend to be highly specific to
      the training method employed".
